Ojee Labs built Drop Drop as a free-to-download iOS game with an optional one-time in-app purchase. This Privacy Policy explains what data is collected when you use the app, how it is used, and your rights with respect to that data. Drop Drop has no ads and no user accounts, and we collect only what we need to run and improve the game.

Data We Collect
We collect a minimal set of data to run the game and understand how it is played. We do not collect your name, email address, or any other information that directly identifies you.
- Anonymous install ID — A random ID generated on your device the first time you open the app. It links analytics events from the same install and is not tied to your identity. Reinstalling the app creates a new ID.
- Gameplay analytics — Summary events collected via PostHog, such as when a stage starts, is cleared, or is failed, stars earned, run scores, session length, and which game mode you choose. Events are sent once per stage or run, not for every tap.
- Purchase events — Collected when you view the upgrade screen, start a purchase, complete a purchase, or restore purchases. We never receive your payment information. All purchases are handled by Apple.
- Coarse location — PostHog estimates an approximate location (such as country or city) from your IP address. We do not access your device's GPS or precise location.
- Device information — Device model, iOS version, app version, language/locale, and time zone. Used to find bugs and prioritize compatibility fixes.
- Purchase entitlement — Whether you have bought Drop Drop Pro, managed via RevenueCat. Your anonymous install ID is shared with RevenueCat so purchase events can be matched to analytics.
- Game Center data — Your Endless mode best score is submitted to a Game Center leaderboard if you are signed in to Game Center. This is collected and managed by Apple under its own privacy policy.
Data Stored Only on Your Device
The following stays on your device and is never sent to us:
- Stage progress, stars, and best scores
- Your Sound and Haptics settings
- Reminder notification preferences
This data is deleted if you uninstall the app, and you can clear your progress at any time with Settings → Reset progress.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, Drop Drop may schedule a single reminder on your device if you haven't played for about 48 hours. These are local notifications scheduled on your device. They are not sent from a server, and we do not collect a push token. You can turn them off at any time in iOS Settings.
Data We Do Not Collect
- Your name, email address, or any contact information
- Your precise location or GPS data
- Your advertising identifier (IDFA). We do not track you across other apps or websites.
- Your camera, microphone, or photo library
- Your contacts or calendar
- Payment card details or financial information (all purchases are processed by Apple)
- Any data from other apps on your device
Third-Party Services
The app uses the following third-party services, each of which has its own privacy policy:
- PostHog — anonymous gameplay analytics and remote game settings. Governed by PostHog's Privacy Policy.
- RevenueCat — in-app purchase entitlement management. Governed by RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
- Apple Game Center and the App Store — leaderboards and purchases. Governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
We do not sell your data to any third party. We do not show ads or share your data with advertisers.
Data Retention
Anonymous analytics events are retained for up to 24 months and then deleted. Purchase entitlement records are kept by RevenueCat so your purchase can be restored. Game Center data is managed by Apple and subject to its retention policies.
Children's Privacy
Drop Drop is rated 4+ on the App Store and is suitable for all ages, but it is not directed to children and is not part of the App Store Kids Category. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app has no accounts, chat, or user-generated content, and the analytics we collect are tied only to an anonymous install ID. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your data under laws such as the GDPR (European Union) or CCPA (California). Because we collect only anonymous identifiers, we cannot identify you from your install ID alone. However, you may:
- Request information about the data associated with your anonymous install ID
- Request deletion of analytics data associated with your install ID
- Opt out of analytics by contacting us, and we will stop collecting future events for your install ID

Security
We use industry-standard practices to protect the data we collect. All data is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections. Progress and settings are stored in your device's sandboxed app storage, which other apps cannot access.
Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
